Q: When Will Windows 7 Be Available?

A: Microsoft is scheduled to release the final code to manufacturing in July (or at least that is the plan as of right now).  Once that happens, OEMs will race to make machines available, probably before the official release date of Windows 7 on October 22.

The Release Candidate (build 7260) is now available on Torrent sites and P2P networks, but I would caution you against downloading it, as an earlier version of Windows 7 was infected with malware before being distributed!
